A “Thank You Steve” song was created by an audio engineer using only Mac sounds and Steve Job’s voice. Steve Jobs has been one of the most inspirational people of our time when it comes to technology and creativity.

theimagehouse gets a logo design

theimagehouse has been running from 1998 and you know what they say “a carpenter never has cupboards, a mechanic never has a car”, well I have been terribly guilty of the same. theimagehouse has never had a logo – well at least one that has stuck. The most difficult thing for a designer is to design his own corporate identity. Never happy with what he comes up with and constantly believing that he can do a better design. Unfortunately this belief can lead to bad design as well because when something IS good and you still push for perfection, you tend to push it over the edge and it falls – into bad design. I think this is what my problem has been for a long time.

I like the new design. I wanted it plain and simple yet elegant. I think I have achieved that. The word IMAGE will always be in a different colour to make it more legible because there are no spaces.

Well as for changing it – nope, I’m sticking with this one. I have that gut feeling.

I thought i’d share this redesign of the Ummul Hasanaat website I did, with you. Hope you like the new design. Tried to make it abit more Islamic looking than the previous one. I think the logo also really sites well with this design. What do you think.?

I can appreciate good art when I see it, but good airbrushing is another thing. I remember the days airbrushing in my dads garage at 2 in the morning trying to finish up a masterpiece for a project. One mistake and you go through hell to repair it. No photoshop to UNDO. Anyway back to the picture. This is an airbrushing of an Anaconda crushing a bus. It is brilliantly done. i have no idea where this is but one thing for sure is that you gotta give credit where its due – a masterpiece.
